A U.S. Coast Guard-licensed captain with over 30 years of marine experience, Calef is a seven-time entrepreneur whose background spans consumer devices, commercial and industrial robotics, medical robotics, computer vision, and artificial intelligence. He has frequently highlighted the technology's advantages in safety (near-zero fire risk) and performance, drawing from advancements in medical and military applications to bring scalable solid-state batteries to boaters.

A Harvard Business School graduate, Fitzsimmons brings over 30 years of experience in the marine industry, with a focus on serving original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and distributors.
