A U.S. Coast Guard-licensed captain with over 30 years of marine experience, Calef is a seven-time entrepreneur whose background spans consumer devices, commercial and industrial robotics, medical robotics, computer vision, and artificial intelligence. He has frequently highlighted the technology's advantages in performance, drawing from advancements in medical and military applications to bring scalable solid-state batteries to boaters.

A Harvard Business School graduate, Fitzsimmons brings over 30 years of experience in the marine industry, with a focus on serving original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and distributors.
